Exodus It is a thrash metal band formed in 1982 in San Francisco, California, by Kirk Hammett, Tom Hunting, Paul Baloff and Gary Holt.

In 1983 Kirk Hammett was to join Metallica and was replaced by Rick Hunolt. Rob McKillop was recruited as bass player. Shortly before the release of Pleasures Of The Flesh in 1987, Paul Baloff left the band and was replaced by Steve "Zetro" Souza.
