Rammstein is a German industrial metal group formed in 1994. Their musical style incorporates elements of industrial and electronic music. They are considered part of the NDH movement in his country. His songs are developed almost exclusively in German. They have sold over 20 million copies worldwide.

It is believed that the name Rammstein was formed in 1994 by proletarians raised in East Germany. They took their name from the city of Ramstein airbase in which an accident occurred during a show, three Italian aircraft collided against the public. To transform the name added a 'm'; thus it emerged 'Rammstein' which literally means stone rameante, or catapult made of stone.

Till Lindemann, Rammstein's lead singer, was born on January 4, 1963 in Leipzig, Germany, but since childhood he lived in Wendisch-Rambow, a nearby community.

Till comes from a somewhat dysfunctional family; his father, Werner Lindemann, was a writer and poet; but also a drunk who beat him. The parent - child relationship, stunk, reaching the limit of hatred.

Even though all these years, Till has never visited his grave (His father died in 1993 and his death inspired the creation of "Heirate Mich." At least something good did in his life ... or death, if we see it that way ...)

His mother, Brigitte "Gitta" Lindemann, was also an artist and writer, even shared credit with her husband in some works. His parents divorced in 1975 when Till was only 12 years old.

Richard Kruspe Zven, lead guitarist and founder of Rammstein, was born June 24, 1967, in the village of Wittemburg near Ludwigslus in East Germany. Its original name is simply Zven, but I add the "Richard" for unknown reasons.

Although it is now big fan of music in general, it was not always so. At 16 years old, he crossed with some friends to Czechoslovakia, where he bought his first guitar, but not to touch it, but to sell it and get some extra money.

His birth was fraught with complications, which included an advance of two months at birth, so he was close to death.

Christian "Flake" Lorenz, who serves as Rammstein keyboardist was born on November 6, 1966, in the eastern part of Berlin, Germany.

Being adopted at an early age by the Lorenz family, the true past of "Flake" is vague and uncertain. His adoptive family is known to have a brother three years older than him. He was raised and even today still lives in Prenzauer Berg district of Berlin.
