Initially labeled as a resurgent amplified version of The Rolling Stones, then taken by an ordinary heavy band, and at the end and chosen as "archetypal rock'n'roll band perfect seventies style": this is the twisted and unrealistic story Aerosmith, one of the best groups that emerged in the Boston area in the seventies.
Emerged with the beginning of the 70s, the Aerosmith group was able to trace his firstborn scorn of critics of the time, that compared disparagingly as a loose parody of the British Rolling Stones, and offer very respectable albums that became a of hard-rock bands most commercially successful history.
During its first two years of life Aerosmith fought for jobs night thirty dollars for three hundred days a year, with a huge waste of energy and money. They not reject anything: tiny clubs, schools, peripheral bars, all doing well. Convinced that the only way to attract the public's attention was to be always on stage, they made Boston University his cave. They played free when local concert halls were free of commitments. "The public did not take us seriously at that time, for them we were just another noisy group".
In 1994, the band also won, as they say, a million dollar figure, an advance for his autobiography called "Walk This Way", written with Stephen Davis and published three years later. They came to release their debut album with Columbia until 1997 with "Nine Lives", but the abundant energy and sense of adventure that album suggests that it will be worth every penny you make paid them. That point was most evident by the success of "Do not Want to Miss a Thing", nominated for an Oscar and made for the mega production of the film "Armageddon." The fact that 50 years Steven Tyler was singing the title song for a film in which her daughter is the lead actress Liv says a lot about the durability of Aerosmith.
"Steven just does not want to do it (the tour)," he said in an interview aRolling Stone.
"It's unfortunate, we feel a bit abandoned by him. I guess he thinks his solo career will be successful and, in my opinion, does not realize that his fans around the world are interested see him surrounded by Aerosmith and do not care what will take, "he added.
This is how the band touring rule in 2016.

The leader of Aerosmith, regretted aborting her child
He tells in his biography. In 1975 the singer of Aerosmith, Steven Tyler, began a courtship with a teenage fan. When she became pregnant they decided to abort the child. They always repent. It is a story of Itxu Diaz.
The girl called Julia Holcomb. She was 14. Steven Tyler convinced his parents to become his legal guardian and both went to live together in an apartment in Boston. Holcomb was a fan of Aerosmith musicians chasing gig after gig. Tyler was much higher. 13 years wore.
Suicide attempts
In his apartment in Boston, in the euphoria from sales of Toys in the Attic, Julia Holcomb discovers she is pregnant. With the expected international tour Aerosmith just around the corner, Tyler vanishes at the unexpected news. then seek the advice of Ray Tabano, one of his best friends and one of the musicians of The Strangers, the first band of Tyler. The guitarist did not hesitate to offer advice to the group leader, convincing him that the only way out of their difficult situation was abortion.
"It was a huge crisis," he now recalls the artist; "It's a big deal when you're with a woman, in whom something grows. But they convinced us that things would not be good and would ruin our lives .... " Tyler collected more opinions in their environment, but they all pointed to the same solution: abortion. And so finally they decided.
Young Julia Holcomb and Aerosmith frontman frightened entered the operating room. What happened there has told the artist himself in his recent biography Walk This Way: "You go to the doctor and put a needle into her stomach, and then push something out, and you're there, watching. And then that goes dead. "
Instantly, tears and horror. The awareness that a heart has stopped beating. Own heart. "Jesus, what have I done?" Tyler asked bitterly minutes after the abortion. It was that a cry to heaven and never stopped. A voice that never stopped ringing inside, as the rocker himself admits now for the first time, nearly four decades later. Everyone had prompted them to abortion, but no one had warned them of the drama to come.
After the terrible experience of abortion, Tabano says Steven found very upset: "I was really bad, because he was just a child. He saw everything ... ".After rid of your son, everything was worse for the couple. There was no sign of those promises that ensured that no child would achieve keep intact courtship. The couple went through a painful breakup. Julia Holcomb his apartment and accidentally burned in the fire also burned the rubble of an idyll drowned in pain. It was the end point. The singer left home and tried to calm her sadness initiating a strange relationship with Playboy model Bebe Buell. Holcomb young Julia returned to her parents' home and attempted suicide several times. She never heard anything more about it. In the book Walk this Way, the author, Stephen Davis, tries unsuccessfully to protect their privacy by hiding under the pseudonym Diana Hall.
A six-headed cow
In late 1975, fleeing their ghosts, Steven Tyler set up a European tour with Aerosmith and rushed to the stage, accompanied by his new girlfriend, Bebe Buell. According to the model, Tyler went wild, sank into a spiral of drugs, painkillers and alcohol, violent and desperate starring episodes. "Completely drunk out of his mind ... Steven destroyed his dressing room in Hammersmith" recalls Buell.
As the singer himself confesses in Walk this Way, the post-abortion syndrome accompanied him throughout life. Although mid-1986, after a long treatment, got off drugs, Tyler has never been able to get rid of the pain of seeing her son die. When later his wife got pregnant Cyrinda Foxe, Tyler suffered a continuous nightmare that lasted nine months: "I was afraid. I thought we were going to give birth to a six-headed cow, after what he had done with other women. For me, guilt in real life was very traumatic. It still hurts".
